All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the fields or in fruit from the trees, belong to the Lord; they are sacred to the Lord…The tithes of the herd and the flock, every tenth animal that passes under the herdsman’s rod, shall be sacred to the Lord. – Lev. 27:30,32

Celebrating Father Thomas Skamai, C.O.

It is with great thanksgiving and joy that I announce that Thomas Skamai has been ordained a priest of God in the Order of Melchizedech. He will return to Saint Joseph Catholic Community and Saint Timothy’s Ordinariate Parish to offer a Mass of Thanksgiving on June 26th.

Following the 10 AM Mass, a dual parish picnic will be hosted at Saint Joseph’s to celebrate this wonderful occasion. If you are interested in assisting with this endeavor, please contact Barbara Faid at blf795@comcast.net

Please RSVP if you plan to attend the picnic so that we can plan accordingly at https://saintjoseph.cc/celebrating/

The theme of the 2022 Bishop's Appeal is "Open wide the doors to Christ" calling us to evangelization, welcoming new people to a life-changing encounter with the living Christ who is present in and through his Body, the Church. The key ingredient to reaching the Bishop's Appeal goal of $350,000, is your participation.

Our Parish has a goal of $3,000 for this year's appeal. Please consider a sacrificial commitment to the Bishop's Appeal. Help Bishop Lopes and your Ordinariate family proclaim Christ to the world. Visit ordinariate.net/bishops-appeal or return the pledge card and envelope provided to make your gift. Checks should be made payable to Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter and mailed directly to the Ordinariate."
